A Prophetic Voice

I am starting to learn that no matter what I think, or some in the Church believe, God always has the last word. Throughout the Old Testament, and yes, even in the New Testament Church, the importance of the prophetic ministry is established. Modern churches have attempted to determine whether or not the prophetic ministry is relevant and necessary for the contemporary church.

I still believe, rather easily, that Ephesians 4:11 continues to be the plan of God for equipping the saints of the modern church. I look around at the state of our country and see the effects of a missing voice, the prophetic voice. I wouldn’t be surprised at all to see the Church receiveĀ an influx of people with a mighty prophetic voice ( a genuine, sincere, humble group). The church that Jesus is building, will be built according the the blueprint established in His Word (Eph. 4:11). May we hear a slumber shattering voice of God speaking through His servants.
